As a former USATF MLDR Executive Committee member I can also say that Bill was a true “prince” and his energy and contributions to our sport will be sorely missed. BTW, you reference Maximum Velocity, the USATF-sanctioned Track and Field Club and 501c(3) intended to serve young track and field athletes from Rochester and environs. I certainly plan to make a donation in Bill’s name. I contacted Maximum Velocity about how to make a donation. This is what Aubrey shared with me: “Any donation goes a long way with youth summer track. Some have used Venmo and others mailed it in.”
Venmo: https://venmo.com/code?user_id=2175555176759296407&created=1658257547.1922998&printed=1
Mail: C/O Aubrey Sheffield, 15 Terra Vista, Scottsville, NY 14546

Here’s the club’s website: https://www.maxvelocity.org/teams/?u=MAXIMUMVELOCITY&s=htosports

I encourage others who were touched in some way by him or simply want to honor him and give back to the sport to do the same.

Bruce KirschnerAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5107719861026439780.post-37124603197816775702022-07-18T08:47:25.961-04:002022-07-18T08:47:25.961-04:00Paul, Thanks for your excellent tribute to our fri...Paul, Thanks for your excellent tribute to our friend Bill Quinlisk. Some of us at GVH remember when Bill was also a pretty good competitive runner when he was with the Greater Rochester Track Club. We will miss him greatly.
Jim MayJim Maynoreply@blogger.com
